This week we take a look at some of the key products released at Frankfurt Light + Build. Renowned as the leading lighting design and technology exhibition in the world, this season saw a number of innovative releases by design houses on our roster. Curtain
– designed by Arik Levy for VIBIA
CURTAIN is a striking new light typology that combines LED luminaires with a unique partitioning system. Equally functional when switched off, this new style of lighting experience enables a beautifully tonal gradient of light to delineate spaces.
CURTAIN can be used a number of ways; as a suspended chandelier or feature light above a dining table, as an installation within a reception or public space, or equally as a floor to ceiling partitioning system for offices and professional spaces.
Three variations include a version with top rail LED fitting, the version with bottom rail LED fitting and the version with both top and bottom rail LED fittings. Each version reacts differently with light displaying varying tonal depths of light and shadow. Available in different sizes, contact usfor more information.
Talk
– designed by Nathrang Disseny for LEDSC4
Light + Building presented a number of stand out exhibitions and TALK, designed by Disseny caught our attention as a playful series offering a contemporary take on interior lighting. TALK is driven by energy efficient CREE LED and each stem is equipped with 355 degree rotation to allow considered illumination. Download the product specs here.

Invisible

As seen at Light + Building, INVISIBLE has recently been announced as the German Design Award winner for 2016. New additions to the INVISIBLE family include multi and single suspension, wall, floor and outdoor floor luminaires. We currently have INVISIBLE (multiple suspension in LED) on display at our East Perth Showroom. Contact us to arrange a time to view it in person.
The Cultural Centre of Ilhalvo featuring TUPOLI designed by Climar
Known for consistently finding new ways to integrate lighting and architecture, Climar are now devoting increased attention to working with architects and designers when it comes to customizing lighting solutions. We visited Climar HQ in Porto recently and saw first hand the attention to detail and technical engineering that goes into designing, manufacturing and producing their products. Schmitz Launch Their New Website
Having worked closely with Schmitz in Australia for the last few years we are excited to announce the launch and re-brand of their website, which features a new online configurator that allows users to customize products from colour and size to technical specifications. Schmitz have been pioneering the way in technical lighting design since 1932 and their philosophy is based on dynamic lighting that caters not only for brightness and efficiency, but also colour temperature.

Linea Light Group continues to grow and invest in the “made in Italy” concept, with Italian plants devoted to their manufacturing and research processes. Their emphasis on quality was evident at Light + Build, showcasing a diverse collection that caters for commercial, interior, exterior and public spaces.
SUELO is an extremely durable and technically developed driveable uplight suitable for lighting exterior facades of buildings, driveways and public spaces. With IP67 and IK10 ratings, SUELO is highly energy efficient and capable of dimming. View the product specs here.
